Learn to measure and interpret blood pressure accurately, gaining insights into its role in diagnosing and managing medical emergencies.
Use of Advanced Patient Assessment Tools
Get hands-on experience with specialised tools like pulse oximeters and thermometers to enhance accuracy in patient evaluations.
Emergency Childbirth
Understand the protocols for assisting in childbirth during emergencies, focusing on ensuring the safety of both mother and baby until professional medical help arrives.
Behavioural Problems
Learn to manage psychological and emotional challenges in emergencies, including anxiety, shock, and behavioural disorders, ensuring the patient remains calm and safe.
Advanced Content of a First Aid Kit
Explore additional equipment and supplies included in advanced kits, such as splints, tourniquets, and specialised bandages, and learn how to use them effectively.
Additional Practical Scenario Training
Participate in complex, hands-on simulations to practise responding to multiple casualty incidents, ensuring readiness for real-world emergencies.
This advanced first aid course aims to deepen participants’ knowledge while fostering confidence in practical application. It builds upon the foundational skills from Levels 1 and 2, with a focus on scenario-based learning to simulate real-world emergencies.
Participants will spend considerable time mastering primary and secondary surveys, enabling them to accurately evaluate injuries and determine the best course of treatment. This aspect of the training is central to the Level 3 course, offering invaluable hands-on experience for making critical decisions in emergency situations.
